 Die, you worm - Thursday, November 30, 2006 at 9:41 AM
It puzzles me how centipedes are able to come out from the toilet drains. I mean, the drains are supposed to be filled with water, right? And last i checked, those buggers (literally) aren't able to last 5 minutes in my toiletbowl, maybe even less than that. I tend to overkill household bugs.

Anyway, i happened to spot one last nite in the toilet, unfortunate for it, fortunate for me. Immediately, i whipped out my trusty Baygon and fired a shot at the bugger. Like the cockroach, it started to run around the bathroom like a worm on steroids. I watched and waited for it to wriggle and coil up like a spring.

Never happened.

As it wriggled towards me, i totally went trigger happy on it. Almost blew it to the other end of the toilet.

But still, it was alive. Looking at my Baygon can, with pictures of cockroaches and flies, i just concluded that the thing killed 6-legged insects and not... multi-legged ones.

Then i decided to suffocate it. I took a bottle of dettol handwash and squirted a "warning drop" on the worm. Immediately, it just curled up and dropped dead.

Dettol handwash. Scary mary. Next time i wash my hands with that before dinner, think i got to wash it again with ordinary soap. Wouldn't want any of that insect killer in my stomach. I got to start an Anarchy's cookbook for killing insects man... "101 ways to rid your houesehold pests with everyday items." Shiok rite?

 Raindrops Keep Falling On My Head.. .lalalal - Friday, November 03, 2006 at 10:02 AM
It's 2 am in the morning. I'm sniffling every 2 seconds to keep my watery mucus in my nose (and sometimes down my throat... accidentally) and yet i'm still awake and worse, online. Au contraire to the thoughts that i've overstudied and have become nuts, it's really just a bad combination of decisions that has led to my current pathetic state. I'll try to briefly sum it up... here goes:

1. Decide to take in an ownage game of dota despite the fact that it was 1 am and i had to be awake 6 hours after.

2. Match ended after 1 hour plus, which left me with roughly 4 hours + of sleep. Did i mention i'm the guy who averages 11 hours sleep per day during the holidays?

3. Got caught in the rain in the afternoon, cos i had to be at science to study.

4. Studied in med library which was close to an arctic blast. Froze my brains out. I suspect this was when i got the flu bag. yes, ironically at medicine library.

5. Started sniffling at night, so abandoned plans to stay in school till the wee hours of the morning.

6. Right now, trying to get some rest, but body clock can't adjust to going to bed early. Tossed and turned for a good hour before coming online.

Well, i'm feeling a little drowsy now.

So before i crawl back to bed, the moral of the story is:(in c++ psuedo code, no less)
CODE:
#include

int main(){

int Getting_caught_in_rain_and_freezing_in_med_library, game_of_dota_late_at_night;
bool Thing_that_caused_pathetic_state;

cout << "Rate stupidity factor of getting caught in the rain then freezing in med library: ";
cin >> Getting_caught_in_rain_and_ freezing_in_med_library;

cout << "Rate stupidity factor of losing sleep because of dota: ";
cin >> game_of_dota_late_at_night;

if (Getting_caught_in_rain_and_ freezing_in_med_library > game_of_dota_late_at_night)
Thing_that_caused_pathetic_state = true;
else
Thing_that_caused_pathetic_state = false;

Root_of_all_evil = Thing_that_caused_pathatic_ state;

cout << "the root of all evil is " ;

if(!Thing_that_caused_pathetic_state)
cout << "dota" << endl;
else
cout << "stupidly running through the run and choosing to study in the cold med library" << endl;

return 0;
}

SAMPLE INPUT:
Rate stupidity factor of getting caught in the rain then freezing in med library: 9
Rate stupidity factor of losing sleep because of dota: 10

SAMPLE OUTPUT:
the root of all evil is dota

ok, i think i'm really nuts now
